Saltonstall Park

Saltonstall Park, located adjacent to Watertown City Hall, serves as a significant cultural and recreational center for residents. In the summer months, the park hosts a lively weekly farmer’s market. Its natural sloping topography also forms an amphitheater, ideal for a weekly summer concert series. This dual-purpose park enhances community engagement and enjoyment throughout the year. MDLA was retained to develop a plan to enhance and expand upon the existing park that was beginning to show signs of aging. The firm worked closely with the general public and City officials on a design that addressed it’s modern day programing needs and ensured accessibility to all residents.
